I don't know how many YNers have a blog, but I've actually seen some stuff in blog sites that scares me.

Child porn. Of all types. Children, preeteens, teens. Doing stuff they shouldn't even know about.

Dig around those blog sites and you'll find those child porn blogs. Xanga has them, myspace does too, etc.

I can't believe this is happening. No one does a thing about it; those blogs are never shut down or anything. Do they have any idea they can be sued by the parents of the children or something? Do they realize they may have sadistical pedophiles making these children do this? What if some of the major internet child porn rings started in blogs?

Another thing that concerns me is that these pictures can be easily copy/pasted, meaning that even if the porn blogs are shut down, other people could have the pics (and share them) as well.

Also, in those blogs there are adults (and by adults I mean people in their 30's and up) leaving nasty comments on those sites. I don't care about people's sexuality, but I refuse to support young child pornography.

I think the people that run these sites where people post their pictures don't want to get involved because no matter what someone will always get mad. I actually went to school with someone who was posting her own porn pictures on myspace. The pictures were disgusting and the comments from men around 30 were even worse. The girl was made to take her profile off and was consulted for therapy.
But I really think the people that run the sites should consider what they are really showing.

Celtic, I know Xanga sometimes closes off blogs for violating their rules, or laws. How about you make a list of all the violators, and send it to the people at Xanga and myspace to check out?

No, that is distrubing, and if the children are being forced to do this, then its as bad as rape, you know? But I don't see how they would go about shutting them down.
