My sister was anorexic once...She got really skinny and she still is. She got help but she still has trouble eating. If she looks at the food for too long, it'll look disgusting to her and she won't be able to eat it.
Just try to get your friend to eat without looking at the food first.

Well you don't want to lecture her about it, that's the last thing you need, but researching on the illness is smart, know what your friend is dealing with, that will better help you to help her. And then you might want to tell her mom or a teacher.

Don't help her. My friends don't, and I feel a lot better about it.

Tell an adult you trust like a parent or a teacher you get along with. They will help you. And remember support her all the way and let her know you're there for her. It is a big issue these days. *sigh* I wonder why.

Do what my best friend did. When I was in sixth grade I became anorexic and no one knew until the middle of seventh grade. When my best friend found out she told my parents and I hated her so much. When I started "getting better" I finally forgave her. But the thing is I wasn't getting better. I became bulimic and at the beginning of ninth grade I was 5'0" and 71 pounds. I finally decided I should get help again when I couldn't hardly do what I loved: Cheerleading. Now I am a Sophomore and I am 5'0" and 84 pounds. I am not completley better but I am getting there and you need to tell someone. It is the only way to help your friend. Good Luck!

You can't help her by yourself. I have anorexia, and there is no single person who could make me well. I'm doing decently right now because my parents found out and admitted me to a hospital.

If your friend isn't doing so bad physically, you should still tell her parents (you could just tip them off quietly and they can make it seem to her that they figured it out on their own); they can have her placed in an outpatient eating disorders program. EDs are tricky. Your friend would probably be best off getting some sort of professional help.

You need to be there with her and talk it through with her. Cause i was once bullemic and I had no one to help me. I wish someone would've been there so I wouldn't have been able to hurt myself so badly. You also need to tell an adult. Whether it be a parent or a counselor or someone older that can keep it confidential and help at the same time. She needs more than one person. Cuz one person being there is one thing. But a whole bunch of people being there for you is another thing.

always be her friend, but get some help, too. It would be good if you told an adult your friend so that she could get better.

God Bless, *~Collielvr~*
