In order to give a child up for adoption, it means you must carry the child for nine months and then go through labor. Neither of those things are fun or pleasant, and some women (me, for instance) who have a low pain tolerance, don't want to carry a child or give birth. Therefore I should have the option of abortion.

Nothing is a human until it is born. Until it is out of the mother's womb. That's the medical definition of a human, therefore an embryo is not a human.

My advice to you? Don't have an abortion. As I already explained, you can't give a baby up for adoption unless you carried it for nine months and then gave birth to it, and some women don't want to do that.

Or women who would pass AIDS, or any other deadly disease, to the child? If that kid were to live, he/she would only have a certain amount of years to live, and the years he/she would live would be spent in needless suffering.
And what about women who would die if they gave birth to the baby? The mother should die just to save the life of a fetus that already has slim chances of living?
I think abortion is wrong in any situation, even if the woman was raped. Everyone uses that example to back up abortions. In reality very very few pregnancies are of rape. And those who do become pregnant by rape should give the baby up for adoption if they aren't able for whatever reason to keep the baby. Most poeple who have abortions are just unwilling to take responcibility for their actions. No one should be havng sex outside of marriage first of all, and especially not if they can't take responcibility for what might happen if they do.
Abortions are not always wrong. Its true that A babys life is being taken but just think about why some people are doing it. One of the main reasons people are getting abortions is because they are afraid to be a parent or they are being forced to have the abortion. I think they should only use an abortion if both the lives of the child and the mother are in danger.

Also it was your fault you had a baby, maybe if you had been careful you wouldn't have to think about abortion. I know sometimes it just happens but then you should consider adoption and not abortion. The only time abortion might be right is if the pregnancy could put yourself in danger and then I'm still not happy about it! If your pregnant and don't want the baby, do adoption NOT abortion!
unfortunatly, i think the option of abortion is a good idea. would you rather have an aids infested child with a mother or father that doesn't/ can't feed it or cloth it. That can't/won't treat it right, abuses it phyically, emotionally or sexually? I would rather not see that happen to another child. When i was 7, I was rapped by my step-cousin, and again when i was 11. Both times where mortifying. And the second time i could have gottn pregnent. Thankfully i didn't, but if i had, i would have been dumb enough back then to have kept it. Today, i would have a 4 year old baby. There is no way i am responsible enough, or mature enough to handle it. it isn't just like baby sitting, its a whole new world. I would fear for that childs future. i would of course treat it right and do everything i can to give it the best, but my life would have been ruined. i would not be where i am today. I know it sounds wrong, because it is technically killing an innocent infant, but i think abortions are ok.
I guess if you got raped thats making a wrong decision? I'm pro-choice. Accidents do happen sometimes. I'm sure if you were in a situation like so you would change your mind. Would you want to have your rapists baby? Every time you look at your child you would remeber the rape? I dont think so. And getting tried for murder? Come on! At the points at which you can have an abortion, is not even actually formed into a baby really. And being tried for murder for having an abortion? You would probably get more time than a rapist. Not exactly fair. And having an abortion is a personal choice! No one else should make that decision for someone else.
im pro choice... but that doesnt mean im promurder or pro abortion either. its a womens decision to do what she does to her OWN body. no one should be able to make that decision for her. also why bring in more unwanted children into our world. adoption centers have so many as it is. remember, neither condoms nor birth control are 100% effective. after the 3rd month tho, abortion is completely wrong. by that time it is forming an actual human being.
yes...ppl who get abortions should be tried for murder. Lacy Peterson's husband/murderer...was tried for killing his wife and his child. if he got tried for murder of both them, ppl getting abortions should too.
i think abortion is so wrong, no one, and i mean no one should have the choice over someones life! especially over a helpless baby's life! if u are not ready 4 the baby, than dont have , its that easy, and if u are d and not ready for the baby, put it up for adoption!

As oppossed to all the people that think abortion is right are stupid? I would consider myself a fairly intelligent person and I think abortion is right but only in some cases. Of course the baby is still a person in a rape case. But the woman may not be able to physically, emotionally, or financially be able to handle the stress of having a baby, especially if she did not put herself into the place to have a child.
