a lot of people seem to be down on adotion and think abortion is a better alternative....

i dont want to turn this into another abortion debate so what needs to be done to make the adoption process more accesible to parents -to -be and those who would like to adopt....cause I know there are tons of people who want a baby but cant afford adoption....

Why have such strict background checks?? When two meth addicts can pop out a kid no questions asked. But as long as they arent two same sex meth heads I guess its ok!

Well, I know in China there are some ridiculous regulations. Like, you can't be obese, you must be over 30 but not older than 50. And a few others. So those could use some changing, but also not just in China, backround checks on the adoptive parents. Some places might already do that, but they should probably do a better job because some children get abused. Doing backround checks might reduce child abuse.

well that poses a problem....not everyone can afford to adopt

it gets well into the thousands....why is that?

is it just a way to make money or are there really that many expences?

i have heard you have to have so many bedrooms in your house, and they do REALLY strict interviews.....

Letting gays adopt. Also everyone who is against abortion should adopt a kid.
