Does anone agree with me that anyone who molests a child should have a harsher sentance than a few years in jail? I belive that we should burn them all at the stake and hear then scream.

Most definatly. Way harsher. They need to crack these cases and get to the suffering for those people who did that.

Absolutely. Child molesters should probably serve a longer time in jail, get strokes from the cane, lose the privilege of owning a car, credit card and a house, have their passport confiscated, never allowing them to ever leave the country no matter what. They should also be deprived of getting their opinions heard, barred from entering any contests and a curfew imposed to them. Lastly, they should also spend the rest of their lives brushing crocodiles' teeth, 4 times a day, at the nearest zoo(LOL).

Maybe it's just my sadistic nature, but I honestly think that child molesters should be given a much harsher punishments. Has anyone heard of this torture method called "A Thousand Cuts"? I wish they can just endure that for like what..9 years? That should be sufficient.


Oh, and don't get me started on the punishments for rapists... :P

I agree that punishments need to be harsher. My sister was molested by my dad and he gets out of jail in at most 3 years. After he commited this crime for 3 years, his sentance was 7 - 10 years in prison. The justance system just isn't being fair to the victems.

rapists, child molesters, and murderes all deserve such deths as being burned at the stake...they have nothing good to give to this world.

Child molestors have to be registered and the neighborhoods that they are "placed" in my their social workers have to be notified. It's the law.

You are right that they should serve harsher punishments because it's crazy when a person that robs a bank is charged more years than a person that hurts a child.

What I don't understand is why people would do such things to children... it's just really stupid. and mean.

It's like if someone doesn't stand up for these kids who are being abused than who will? Yeah it's all good and well that the creeps get caught and locked up but where does the real justice come in to play? We have to have some kind of power over these people or else they will be out in a couple of years doing it again. I am sorry to tell you but old habits are hard to break my friend for these kind of people and I wish something would happen like tougher laws or sentencing when they go to court for what they've done.

well, I was being a little eccentric about it, but nowadays, the punishments are weak. I belive that damaging something so frail is the worst thing that someone could do. And also, some people who were abused as a child turns out to do it themselves. I hate that with a passion!
