i think it is fine for gay people to adopt. Many people keep saying that gay perents may influence their child to become gay, yet i know many gay people with straight parents. i also know somebody who has a gay mum and their fine with it because they know their mum is more happy with her partner then she was with my friends dad.

but you do have to admit the fact that a child with gay parents is gonna have a much harder life than one with straight parents. But a child's life with gay parents would be no where near as hard as it would if the child were living in a grass hut in the slums of china or mexico or some place like that.

Well, i'm gay and i just went to my psychiatrist (no i'm not seeing him cause i'm gay you douche bags, i'm seeing him for depression) and he said the most recent scientific evidence seems to support the theory that one's sexuality is "hardwired" within ur brain and is a completely natural thing.

Haha. "Ooh, pan. I just wanna feel your teflon and stroke your handle...you're so shiny and smooth...oh, yes, pan, oh yes, oh YES!" Now for the sake of staying on topic... There is no evidence to suggest gay parents "turn their kids gay". They are parents like anyone else, kids need parents, there are kids in this world without parents, so what's so wrong about gay adoption. Nothing. No harm can come of it, only good.

Paul wrote about why christians should not be homosexual too.
Quote? Verse number? I know the passage, but some people, especially non Christians, might not. And I'm too lazy to look up the actual verse...

quote: In fact, homosexulity should only be a sin for the Jewish, because the REASON it's a sin in the first place is it's what other people did, and because they had just left Egypt they were to do everything they could to seperate themselves from other religons.
and if thats true, why is it more christians who say that homosexuality is against their religion, but not usually Jews?? b/c i know that the reform and conservative Jews (2 of the 3 groups, probly the larger 2) have said that Jews can be rabbis and stuff, so they accept them.

Okay, I know bisexual is being attracted to both sexes; why do you keep telling me that?
Pansexual...exhibiting many forms of sexual expression- that's not a great definition, but it's all I got...perhaps that would be closer to what my friend is. Before I looked it up in the dictionary, my best guess was being attracted to pans, and I had an inkling that might be incorrect...

Why, thank you Jen, bisexual means you're attracted to both sexes. But if we're on the topic, what's pansexual?

Also lets say that the homosexual parents did "influence" the child into being the a "homosexual," I sill don't see what the problem is here. To say "I have nothing against homosexuals" but then say "but I don't believe they should be adopting children” is hypocrisy, plain and simple and you know it. Also if you have nothing "against" homosexuals why are you so worried about them influencing people? Stop bending the truth and just admit it, you don't like them; this will save a lot of beating around the bush.

same here, and the argument usually is well they molest kids or whatever lame excuse, by that logic...no one should be able to adopt. I am a guy and I like to be with girls, should that prevent me from adopting a little girl when I get older? Please people...kids are alone in shelters with no one to love them. Think about them for once.

I really don't see the problem, especially with the amount of children who need good homes. Besides I've seen gay couples who, from my perception, would provide a much more stable living environment for a child then say a straight couple. The very nature of homosexuality and its randomness from different types of social setting goes to show that homosexual parents would not "influence" there children to be homosexual.
