I think that if there are avaiblity in homes and people that want to adopt than I don't see why not? There are so many problems with this country. Don't bring the kids into.

I was shocked to see that ANY people AT ALL would be against the adoption of a baby boy or girl!

A little off topic, but my aunt and uncle just adopted a baby boy from Russia, Tyler, and we went to meet them at the airport last Friday...

SOOO ADORABLE!!! When I got to hold him, he just threw his arms around my neck and lay his head on my chest...AW!

OK, I'm sounding so mushy, but I love him SO much!

So, in conclusion (conclusion to WHAT? lol) adoption is good and gays would provide just as suitable a home as any straight couple.

Well you know, monsters like gays obviously cant raise kids! They would become gay too! And then make more gay people, who would take over the world!!! The original couple doesnt deserve the luxury of creating more of "their kind"! We have to be on the lookout for certain couples who try and take away and brainwash innocent children that ought to be with a "righteous couple", a straight couple, a God loved couple, a christian couple! It is His will!

Im just playing. The children need love and compassion from whoever is willing to give it to them.

You act like homosexuals are monsters or something...They are just regular people, there are millions of gay people and I bet you know a few, whether or not you are aware of it. This is such a pointless arguement. Its like saying black people can't adopt white children. Do people actually think that there should be a law preventing gay people from adopting? That's awful.

On the topic at hand, I think it's fine for homosexuals to adopt. As many people have said before, there is nothing wrong with homosexuals raising children (and they are probably more accepting of children who are bi or gay) and it's far better than having a child grow up in an adoption agency. And saying homosexuals will always raise their children to be homosexual is like saying straight people will always raise their children to be straight, which obviously isn't the case.

I would love to adopt 4 or 5 kids! isn't that better that having then die in 48hours? or living in a big *** house with food, water, clothes for the rest of their lives?!!

That's a very good point. I'm christian, and I have respect for christians, but it's not up to a religion to decide what others can or cannot do.

Well, I know this is old but it's not really about homosexuality as it is about them adopting children so I wish to reply.

I think it's wonderful if homosexuals adopt children. I think it's wonderful if anyone adopts a child. Yay for the adopted children of the world!

in my opinion, homosexuals should adopt a child if they want. it shouldn't be up to the 1.9 billion people who believe in God and the Bible to tell what the other people should do. if everyone just steps back and takes a look, you'll realize ALL of this is based on the different aspect of a religion - Christianity. no disrespect to who is Christian, but the world does not revolve around your religion. but that is what the government is trying to do. and it is the worse thing in the world to do. face it.

I completely agree with you! There is nothing wrong with it at all! gay and bi people are the same as everyone else! And fro those who might say the kids might come out liek them...how is that true when most gay and bi people'e parents were straight and they still were gay or bi? Everyone has their own sense of sexual freedom. It's your heart's choice to choose whom you love and whom you don't...well your heart's not yours...People should not be punished fro how they feel. And kids should not be punished cause people feel like acting like the Salm witch trails are back on. ALOT of my friend's are bi or gay or les. And i think they would make better parents then most parents i have met. It's also about who will LOVE and CARE for the child. and don't say they would abuse the kid sexually cause it isn't true...most sexual abuses go on in a straight seem to be nomal marriage...sad but true...do to those who want to adopt and are gay/bi/les I hope upon hope for you!
