Give reasons on why child labour is excessively being exploited in under developed countries..

All the reasons outlined by stopstop plus the fact that not having kids educated is not perceived in the same way in India as it is abroad . Its much much better now but still its all the parents ever knew - to work so the kids are automatically drawn in to it . The good thing though is that the Labour Laws are getting enforced in a much better way now .

In Sierra Leone poverty keeps knocking at the door of people but at the same time they want their business to go the level they want it, therefore they will use every avenue. One of the main reasons is cheap labour. A lot of business people don’t want to pay the cost for labour, they in turn use children for labour. Secondly illegal immigrants are used any how because they don’t have correct papers. Trafficking is another reason

because it's cheap quote: The IMF and World Bank have rules against child labor, so I guess you should all support those two organizations. Being against the same things doesn't mean anything of the sort. I'm against what I view as terrorism, but under no circumstances will I ever support our Monkey in Chief.

im sorry to sound mean but yes people need help from all over the world but one saying that pops up in my mind is "Before you can help somebody you need to help yourself". The United states needs to try to stop proverty here than over in another country because in the Delta wich is in Mississippi only thing there is old houses which look like sheds and the Mississippi River which I know Katrinia tore aport that little place.

In many countires with child labor their is a lack of laws, and if there are laws, a lack of enforcement of these laws. Countries need to make sure they enforce any exsisting laws which deny child labor.

funnily enough child labour in india is mostly because of the citizens and not just the big companies.. we have families bringing in kids from rural ares to babysit for thier kids and these kids are aged around like 8-15 and they are bought tot ake care of infants.. then we also have people running garages who get kids from rural ares to work for them.. but the worst is when firecracker factories employ kids to work in thier factories under extreme inhuman conditions...

Actually, BS, I was referring to notsojoey when I said that, and now I take it back since he clarified his position to mean quite the opposite of what we all thought at first. Your point is valid.

I did not mean citizens in my original post - I meant leaders. Sorry about that. It is the leaders who are animals, not the citizens, and thus the leaders lack any sort of moral judgement that the rest of human kind has.

I think that is a fair point. Do you disagree with the first part? And the second part is true. And the third part is opinion, but fair I think.

War lords don't care about the citizens. The IMF and World Bank have rules against child labor, so I guess you should all support those two organizations.

Because the citizens aren't living, breathing human beingg\s but rather dogs. Perhaps we should all have a big group hug to solve this problem. I know that is what this board is getting at.

There aren't the oportunities in underdeveloped countries. It's the same reason there's starvation, no education and lack of clean water. They don't have the resources to do anything else. Desperation - when the parents need food to feed the child and cannot get enough without extra help. That's one reason, but there are others.
