That doesn't apply to the school idiots, that's the problem.

I have not yet reached my goal, and I am not perfect. But Christ has taken hold of me. So I keep on running and struggling to take hold of the prize. My friends, I don't feel that I have already arrived. But I forget what is behind, and I struggle for wha

It's a good article. I liked it. It's too bad that young girls are made to feel like they are not worth anything other then to be little sex images. Which also in turn causes the young boys to not of girls in any other way. No wonder the bible says that money is the root of all kinds of evil. All those adults out there making $$ off of selling slinky clotheing to little girls, who grow into young women, who don't respect their bodies enough to keep them covered. There is nothing genuinly attractive about a women who let's everything hang out. I once read this article in a secualr magazine written by a guy who was saying that all the revealing clothing out there only maked women look less attractive. That there is something exciting about a women who respects herself, and dresses decently. Shows she has some dignity. And causes a man to have to pursue her in a good respectful way, since her whole appearence demands respect. But... I think things will only get worse from here.

Maybe it's just the Seattle area, but I don't see many girls dressing like that, unless they're going to a club or dance where it's appropriate anyway. And GOD could that woman use more derivitives of the word "sad" in that article? Where did she study?

I think that 11-12 year old girls who dress like they elong on a street corner, need a decent, caring parent to tell them to go and change into something less revealing. I think that a lack of caring parents easily leads to this "fashion" trend(for lack of a better word).

I'm actually not surprised girls in America dress like whores. I mean we're just one big, stupid, messed up, hated family!

There is a fine line between looking sexy and looking like a tramp. You can look sexy in form-fitting, nice looking clothing and not look like a tramp. I'm so sick of going to class and having to avert my eyes when a girl leans over so I don't see her breasts (and, yes, you can see everything she's got!). I'm sick of seeing her leg from the bottom to almost the very top. And let's not even get started on the stomach. If you must keep pulling your shirt down, it's either too small or your pants are too low. In the real world (clubs, parties, etc.), I don't really care what girls wear. But at school, where you go to learn and other people who don't want to see you naked are there, it is inappropiate. You go to school to learn, not to turn boys on. End of story. And, even if it's in the real world, it sends the wrong message. The girls wearing these trampy outfits say, "I should be able to wear what I want." But I say that you also have to think of where you're going to be, what you're going to be doing, and what kind of people are going to be there. If I wore a skirt up to my a** and a shirt that was so low you could see my breasts, I would simply expect sexual harassment of some kind. There's also an age limit. I think maybe 16 is even too young to be wearing these clothes, no matter where they are. Maybe juniors and seniors (16-18) and those that are older. But I just don't think anyone younger should be wearing skimpy outfits. All that extra makeup doesn't help either.

I KNOW!!! I know this girl who I used to be best friends with when we were little, she's a tramp... Another girl I know and think demeans females got pregnant when she was twelve. She got an abortion. But only because she couldn't figure out who the father was. And that was because she slept with four guys in one day

Let me share some lyrics with you... Clothes aren't what they used to be They don't seem to fit, you and me, anymore Modesty is out the door Flaunting what we've got, and more, is in Yeah it's in They're saying Don't ask why just wear what we say You'll look like a model if you'll only obey To get the attention just do what we say Pay so much for clothes so small Was this shirt made for me or my doll? Is this all I get? I looked so hot but caught a cold I was doing just what I was told To fit in They're saying Don't ask why just wear what we say You'll look like a model if you'll only obey To get the attention just do what we say We're saying Let's ask why, don't wear what they say Don't want to be a model, they can't eat anyway That kind of attention will fade with the day So I'll stand up and say Clothes that fit are fine Won't show what's mine Don't change my mind I'll be fine This song is called Clothes and it is sung by, and written by Barlow Girl. I think that people can look stylish and still dress modestly. The people who are attracted to half naked girls are not the people I want to be dating anyway. I want that person to like me for me, not for my body. There's always going to be a body better than mine, but maybe, just maybe, he'll fall in love with my personality, so I don't have to weorry about his love straying. As for little girls dressing like tramps... I think it is a disgrace. Those girls have their whole lives to worry about boys and sex, why start so young?

i am fine with wering modest clothes. the reason girls dress like that is to get guys and when a guy sees a girl dreesed like that all they want is sex.my philosiphy is the guys have to like me for who i am so what does it matter if i dress modest and not like a street walker.

This is sooo true. What/Who do 12 and 13 year old girls have to look sexy for? Don't get me wrong, sure they should be able to look nice. Looking nice = feeling good about yourself, but come on... super low rise jeans so the whole world can see their crack? Low cut shirts to show of what little bit of a chest they're just getting? They're asking for problems.

what CELTIC???? Why "here you go again" I am saying those things I have said because IT is TRUE. I don't hide the truth. I expose them. And from the way you reacted, it seems you are on clpo's side... which is so typical. You take sides with people who have contradictory views. It was true, clpo likes girls who dress decently, yet he supports prostititution....
