In her latest movie ("Birth"), Nicole Kidman "falls in love" with a 10-year-old boy, even sharing a bathtub scene with him.

This is absolutely ridiculous.

Had this been a regular woman or man doing that, even if the scene and/or act was not sexual (touching, etc), those regular folks would be arrested, if not beaten profusely, in jail!!!

Kidman says the movie is about love and blah balh blah.

It's about desensitizing people about child molestation is what it is.

This crap is not ART - it is pornography, albeit low-key...

Sharing a scene with a 10-year-old boy in that sort of depiction ...it is only being looked at differently because it is a woman ...had that been a grown man actor in a bathtub ..things might be different.

What a hypocritical assessment, though.

And yes, anyone who supports this form of "art" is in essence, supporting the NAMBLA and child molestation indirectly.

I've heard nothing about that movie yet, but it seems that if it was really so contoversial I would have seen something other than this topic.

It does seem like an odd plotline, but I wouldn't go as far as to call it pornography or cchild molestation. However, I don't really know enough about it, and honesty don't care enough to research.

Plus they went through lots of work to make sure it wasn't like porn and they couldn’t get sued by squimish people in the world. In the bathtub scene no one is naked. And the naked scene with Kidman the little boy was not even on the set on the day they filmed it.

IT'S A MOVIE!!! and anyway, if you knew the plot, nicole kidman thinks the kid is a freak who has the hots for her, she doesn't wanna **** the kid. plus, if the kid's parents saw anything wrong with the movie, then they wouldn't have let him play the part, so stop worrying about him 'cause i'm pretty sure he's just fine. especially if he really does get to kiss nicole kidman

Nicole Kidman doesn't fall in love with the 10 year old boy...The boy thinks he is her dead husband reincarnated. It's not as if they show sexual scenes or anatomy...Sure it might be considering wrong but it is definitely not child porn.

No, thats not how it is.... its about a widow (Kidman) whos husband dies and then a 10 year old boy tries to convince her that he is her husband reincarnated.... she doesnt just randomly sleep with a 10 year old, its not about Micheal JacksoN!
