Amaris, I'd have to say that you are very uneducated. God did not get Mary pregnant. Mary was a virgin, she gave birth to Jesus. God gave the baby to Mary, but they never had inercourse. That's not possible. He's(God's) not an incubus spirit.

It's up to the people getting ready to plunge into the most emotional experience of their life. Personally, I want to save that for someone I know won't leave me the minute after we're done. If you wait until you are married than the chances of the person leaving you are much more minimal than opening yourself to those endevors before marriage. Studies have shown that married couples that abstained from sex until marriage are least likely to divorce. On the other hand, married couples who had sex before marriage are in the 'most divorced' category. Now that people know some of the facts...choose yourself.

I think it would be good to wait but it is your choice not mine.

Mary was just a $lut and she got pregnant by some stranger and didn't want to tell everyone, so she said it was God's baby. Which one do you like better? Is Jesus really God's baby, or does God think you should sleep around?

It's my belief that sex was intended to be something indescribealby wonderful, although it's been watered down to just an expression of overly reactive hormones. sex was intended for marriage, to be shared with the only person you've fully commited yourself to. only when it's reserved for that is it what it's fully intended to be.

and yes, chemistry is important, and if you aren't physically attracted to a person at all,or only halfway, then you shouldn't marry them. marriage is one of the most important decisions you'll ever potentially make, and can't be taken lightly.

note that all of this is coming from an outspoken fundamentalist...

no offense but sex IS a big part of mariage (i'm not saying it's the only part). alot of people who are abstinent until marriage feel guilty after they've had sex with their partner. i'm not saying sleep around, that's just dumb. but if you like them that much you might as well.

I agree that people should make their own decisions about sex, but I hope it is the right decision.

There are enough married couples who get divorced. And high-school sweethearts who stay together. Besides, breaking up with someone you've had sex with is not the end of the world.

There are condoms, pills, etc. Also, not all married couples want babies, and many pregnant women have abortions.
So I'd say all your arguements are pretty weak; maybe they apply to you, but not everyone, which is why everyone should make their own choices regarding sex.

i think you can do whatever you want, as long as you're comfortable with it. i'm not the one who should be deciding if people have sex or not. it's a personal decision.
