i recently read a book (by recently i mean at 2 earlier today) about child abuse. It was so terrifying. I could not believe what i was reading. i was close to tears at LEAST 4 times and had chills up my spine the whole time. i was in horor the whole time, afraid that stuff like that of which i was reading actually happened to kids. i read and read and couldnt put it down, it was a real page turner. at the end i was mortified to find out that the book was basiclly one mans autobiography of the first 12 years of his life. i couldnt move. i couldn't breath. it made me want to do something. so this is it. read the book. it is so well written and really does make you feel like 'my god. im so lucky' and want to hug your parents. read the book. pass it on. the book is called 'A Child Called "It" by Dave Pelzer. The story is about him. The book is the first of a trilogy, the others are called 'The lost boy'&'A man named Dave' i haven't yet read them but if they are anything like the first they will be great. The book is a #1 international bestseller.in the back i some information on child abuse. pass it on to everyone you know that can read.

Yea, I could believe that cosmicdream.

My mom once grabed me at the store and pushed me outside and she started screaming at me in front of everyone while she had my hands pined hard against the wall.

She was mad because I guess I told her I'm going to stay here and watch this stuff and she left me and so she believed I lefted her in purpose, I guess and when she found me she had that "I'm going to kill you" look

My brother hits me so when I hit him back or scream at him to stop, my mom hits me sometimes. However, she doesn't hit him when he hits me or calls me names.

Um, she use to hit me a lot when I bother her too much. I think she loved using the belt the most.

Well, she still hits me but only like grabing and slaping.

Which is all gravy, I'm not really bad to deserve the belt, THANK GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!

well done, hardy. my friend told me that she saw this girl getting on the bus and suddenly the mother of the girl stopped the bus and tell her to get out. and slapped her right in the face in front of the people. can u belive that?

i'm glad you did that. i hope that child remembers that and that it helps them to grow into a healthy adult

a few dayz ago i was in the store and the mom pushed the kid up agenst the rak and she slaped the kid 4 times in each cheek.so i walked up to the lady and i pulled her ahnd away and then she said "what do you thnk you are doing" then i said "saving your child from doing that to her children" then they walked away holding the chiled by it's arm and draging her.

there's this book called "somebodys else's kid" by Torey L. Haydeni dunno if any of u read it.it's not bad.

"murphy's boy","just another kid" "ghost girl"is not bad either. also written by her.

i've read that. that book is... outrageous. just think about the kids who go through even worse things. just think... it's happening right now... terrible

Um, those people don't need help, I agree with you. It's really a waste of time helping them, if they don't feel bad about what they did and they know what they did was wrong.

But, there are those other kinds of people and those kinds pf people I think really do need help.
