alright look that made absolutely no sense. i didn't make those sceanario's up. for the first one, you start of started abortions long before then or long after. they just chose 15. the second one isn't about how many kids there are, it's about do they want to risk having another child with a problem like blindness or being deaf or dead and even then it's not about the parents it's about the child suffering.
the third one what does race have to do with it? that wasn't even the point!
and the fourth one happened to two people i know of. one of them is ME!!! and do you believe in god? because the other one was JESUS!!! that kind of thing happens all the time! so again i didn't make those up. abortion is about more than a parent not wanting a baby. it's also about what if they're going to suffer in alot of cases.

quote:
1. There's a preacher and wife who are very, very, poor. They already have 14 kids. Now she finds out she's pregnant with 15th. They're living in tremendous poverty. Considering their poverty the excessive world population, would you consider recommending she get an abortion?

Duh. If they didn't want kids and they were so poor, they would have started using abortions as their contraceptive long before they got to 15.

quote:
2. The father is sick with sniffles, the mother has TB. They have 4 children. 1st is blind, 2nd is dead, 3rd is deaf, 4th has TB. She finds she's pregnant again. Given the extreme situation, would you consider recommending abortion?

Sniffles last for for less than a month. If one is dead, then it would only be 3 kids living with them, not that big of a deal.

3. A white man raped a 13 year old black girl and she got pregnant. If you were her parents, would you consider recommending abortion?

What does race have to do with it? I know what you were trying to get with that. I'm not racist, but whether it's a black poor girl, white poor girl, black rich girl, or white rich girl, I still think they're murdering a child and taking that p.u.s.sy way out. Anyways, no, I wouldn't consider recommending it. Less than 1% of abotions are b/c of rape/incest anyways.

4. A teenage girl is pregnant. She's not married. Her fiance is not the father of the baby, and he's very upset. Would you consider recommending abortion?

You are making some pretty wild scenarios. She's a teen and engaged? If he's already upset about the baby not being his and he already knows, what's the point in killing it? He's still going to be upset.

Anyways, those were some very odd scenarios and I highly doubt they occur very often, if at all. The fact still remains, no matter how many scenarios there are that abortion would be the easiest way to deal with things, it's still wrong, and it is still killing a human child.

i hate it when i have to fight for somethingi don't believe in but since i want to see if you can continue arguing...

Okay, here's a scenario

1. There's a preacher and wife who are very, very, poor. They already have 14 kids. Now she finds out she's pregnant with 15th. They're living in tremendous poverty. Considering their poverty the excessive world population, would you consider recommending she get an abortion?

2. The father is sick with sniffles, the mother has TB. They have 4 children. 1st is blind, 2nd is dead, 3rd is deaf, 4th has TB. She finds she's pregnant again. Given the extreme situation, would you consider recommending abortion?

3. A white man raped a 13 year old black girl and she got pregnant. If you were her parents, would you consider recommending abortion?

4. A teenage girl is pregnant. She's not married. Her fiance is not the father of the baby, and he's very upset. Would you consider recommending abortion?

Why is it wrong?

-Because there is no reason for it to be right. It is murdering a child that hasn't done anything wrong, and cannot help how it was conceived. In the case of rape, I sympathize for the women and don't blame her for wanting an abortion, but that still doesn't make it right. Anyway, less than 1% of abortion cases are from women who have been raped.

Okay, it sounds realy arrogant to say that something is completely wrong so even though i voted completely wrong let me get some feedback on this. why is it completely wrong? think carefully before you answer because i can argue with just about anyone about anything

I think that you should put the child up for adoption instead! It is the same as killing a person!! Frown
