I've had a stillborn brother. I have trouble seeing how anybody can voluntarily get rid of a baby.
This doesn't mean I think they're bad for doing it. I just have trouble seeing how they CAN do it.
Personally I don't think I would ever get an abortion, if the situation was that I couldn't keep the child then I would give it to somebody that could.
But then again I have never been in that situation so I find it hard to judge. All I know is that just the idea of dead babies freaks me out. I can't understand abortion.

Well, this is as easy as saying 1 2 3, I think abortion is just wrong. If a woman is going to have sexual intercourse with someone without using protecting ( and that isn't 100% protection)Odds are, she is going to get pregrent. In that case, that woman planning to have an abortion, is wrong in having it. Now if it's a case of rape, I understand but deep down inside, I'm sorry to say I still think it's wrong. There are other solutions to problems like this. Instead having an abortion, why can't they give the baby up to a family who would really love that child? Or just give the baby a chance, don't just take that little baby's life away.

Sure. How do any of you pro-lifers know that an abortion is not the death God has planned for a human being? Other babies die in miscarriages, so it's not like God never takes the lives of infants. Maybe he wants it this way ..?

I am pro abortion. I think, however, that it is the mother's choice, no one else's. Many women who have abortions feel terrible because they know it is a life, and they are taking that life away. I wonder, however, if perhaps the thought ever runs through their mind that the reason they are getting the abortion is because they cannot take care of the child. This is what would be running through my head. It is true that a child could be given up for adoption, but do you know how many children are tossed from house to house, looking for parents and finding none? The statistics may surprise you. I understand that a woman's choice to have sex is her's and her's alone, but what about those whom have been raped? Where do they fit in this puzzle? It should never have been their burden to bear. I also have a question for those who are Christian (I'm an atheist). If God plans the lives of the unborn babies, doesn't he plan their deaths, too? Just some food for thought.

I also being a strong Catholic know Abortion is wrong because it is the killing of an innocent human being. When the child is killed in the womb, it's whole life has already been planned and then taken away. Now, if a woman is raped and then becomes pregnant, she should give the child up for adoption but still carry and give birth. Just think if one of the aborted babies was going to be the one who would have found a cure for cancer. Just remember if a woman can have sex, she can obviously accept responsibility. And also, all the planned parenthood workers and mothers who killed their unborn will have to answer to the Lord on Judgement Day.

I don't support abortion in general, except in the case of rape or if the mother could be killed by going through with the pregnancy, things like that. I have a friend who is very religious and is the most anti-abortion person I have ever met. Personally, I don't see the situation as so black and white though.
