I agree totally with the writer that abortion is a murder. It is not good to practice it. If you are a youth and you think you are not ready to cater for a child, then please don't do what adults do - having sex

life has to end, like a good book, play or film...totally pointless without an ending.

I still wouldn't support her at that time...'cuz that would mean I was supporting her decision. I would still be her friend after everything happened and I wouldn't judge her for it.

Well, shade, we can't live here forever can we? At the rate this earth is deteriorating then we'll be moving out sooner than you think, where else are we gonna go? According to the Mayans though, the world's gonna end on Decemeber 21st 2012.

But, kate, you have to realize what you're friend's going through and if you don't choose to support her, that's ok. But, you'd have to support HER if not her choice.

No...I wouldn't support my friend's decision to have an abortion. I would still be her friend...but I wouldn't support her decision to kill someone. That's like saying I wanna kill my husband because he's not what I need right now and will you help me do it?

Um. Threat, I think I just tasted bile rising in my throat. Living on the moon? So we can do what, spread our sickness there? What next, mars, right? And then a thousand years from now, we're going to spread our human illness to an inhabited planet. Gods, something is wrong with thinking the moon is a good place to live.

You wouldn't want a child if they were mentally handicapped? I'm so sorry. I really just gotta say I don't have a problem with abortion because it's not my choice and I wouldn't choose to have my wife/girlfriend/friend/sister whomever to have one, but it wouldn't be my choice it would be theirs. And if one of your friends chose to have one, then i hope you would support that choice because that's what friends are for, support.
And, a lot of kids have the chance to do some great things with their life but not a lot of them do, so I think that if the percentage of success could rise, then this world could evolve to the next stage and that third child could be the scientist who leads us to living on the Moon.

i have taken lots of lives in my time...most of them insects, but im also guilty of cruelty to a mouse i had when i was 5....maybe my evil ways have shaped my feeling that abortion is just fine, and something i would hope my future wife would consider in some circumstances...for example if discovered the baby was mentally handicaped, that is just my view. If the world was perfect then help would be given to pregnant women allowing them to have the baby and for it to be given to an adoption agency instead of being terminated, but that is just impossible...so sole responsibility rests with the parents of the baby, not just the mother by any means.

I see it a little differently. I don't necessarily support abortion, but I do support the choice to have one. I would rather people not have them, but I will support their right to have one. It's all about freedom, for me.

How can you support something if you don't think its right?

Sometimes a triple post might be good, especially when what you want to say is something long. It helps people read it easier (and not get bored, oddly). But for the subject at hand? I wonder why people assume everyone who supports abortion believes its right. I don't, and I support it.

Seems like YN users are a little uptight when it comes to posting on the boards...I've never been to a message board where reviving old threads was a problem, or "triple posting" was annoying...

I don't personally mind it. Others find it annoying for various reasons, but they're also the ones who will yell at you for reviving a dead thread but won't let you make a new one on the same topic.

Oooh. Why is that considered annoying? In the board that I usually go to people "triple post" all the time...
