Right. So since I'm pro-choice, I obviously must not have heart, is that what you're getting at? Everyone I know would have to disagree with you on that point, darlin'.

For the record, I don't like abortions. But I hate taking away rights even more. Thus, I'm pro-choice. If only sex education in school was mandatory...then perhaps we'd have less babies to worry about "murdering."

By the way, most people here on YN have a signature that shows up on all their posts. It's at the very bottom of peoples' posts.

Abortion's are wrong, and anyone who agrees to them then I guess they don't care about anyone, but themselves. An abortion=Murder. Stop acting like this shiznitt is okay to do. If you don't want a baby then use protection or close your F*@$ing legs.

It's technically my duty to uphold the constitution, and because the constitution dictates that the government will not sanction one religion over another, I would technically have to "protect" said country from the "enemy"

Well honestly in the end it's not the bible that matters it's the law, and god help this country if it decides it wants to enact the bible as law... because I WILL use my rights as stated in the constitution, and I promise to do as much damage as humanly possible for one motivated Airman and his arsenal of weapons (to be aquired)

Just so you know, hydrok, that point has been made before. But religious zealots only look at one writing, and let's be honest, it ain't the Constitution.

The Constitution clearly states that rights are to be given to citizens BORN here, or naturalized here. And since fetuses are (to use a popular anti-abortion term) "unborn" they do not have rights. Therefore their removal is not murder.

*Shrugs.* I'm sure it's more complicated than that, but on the surface, it isn't rocket science.

So I'm not the only person who sees it that way. Abortion, I mean. I'm not about to go around and kill illegal immigrants.

Oh I got a good one now... this is gonna piss some people off, and it's exactly why at this point in time abortion can not be banned! Hold on tight:

What about an American gives them their rights? Being born or becoming an American.

At what point does a person become an American? At Birth

You know when you fill out that little birth certificate claiming that the child that just popped out has a name, DOB, and a social security number... thats when they become an American.

And for all of you freaks that shout abortion is murder... you cant get in trouble in America for killing something or someone thats not American. I mean what are they going to do, deport you to the ovaries for a tribunal?

So therefore Abortion is perfectly legal because it cant be made illegal, because previous clauses in our constitution would have to be changed in order to give a birth certificate out the day a woman found out she was pregnent.

Bacteria cannot evolve into humans or any other feeling, thinking beings. It isn't "hard" to kill a fetus, excluding the physical complications.

It's about morals...some people believe abortion is murder because it prevents a
creature from developing into what it has the capability to be. That's all. Though it isn't yet a walking, talking human, it is still is intended by God to develop and live, according to some.

Let me just say that I have mixed feelings about this and will not say i am for it or agaisnt it one way or the other.

I totally agree with the poem that Letzbloud put up. i was having a lot of mixed feelings about abortion: its like, what if the child is destined to have a crappy life from the beginning? what if that kid ends up causing the world more harm than good? but after reading that poem, i realize if we don't give unborn fetuses a chance to live, then we will not survive. maybe that baby will be a wakeup call for girls who want children, or who want to sleep with their boyfriend or lover. maybe the child will be our saving chance. i am totally against abortion now. i think that we should give people another chance.

What about freedom of choice? I say the mother's freedom to choose what happens to her body (including anything in it) far outweighs the unborn child's right to life, especially considering said right doesn't even exist until the child is born.
